They sit on seven points, four points ahead of Ukraine who were held to a 1-1 draw by Kazakhstan in Kiev, and five clear of Finland who have a game in hand. The campaign restarts in September when France are due to host Bosnia, but now their attention can turn to the delayed Euro 2020 in June. Lloris marked the occasion by making one superb first-half save, diving low to his left to scoop away a header by Malmo defender Anel Ahmedhodzic from a Miralem Pjanic corner. Bosnia competed well despite coming into the game on a run of 10 matches without a win and their Bulgarian coach Ivaylo Petev testing positive for Covid-19 ahead of this encounter. However, they struggled to create chances for veteran captain Edin Dzeko and were undone by Griezmann in the second half.
